Explain to me the logics of this world? Our world where a company can predict a number for annual profits, not actually attain that mark, but still make millions in profit; then investors lose confidence and the companies stocks tumble? The global clock ticking ever closer toward chaos and ruin.
Profits are made but greedy men want more regardless of the cost. It does not matter to them that the world is going to hell in a hand basket. . .they can afford a better hand basket.
Hand baskets lose half a point Investors get edgy markets wobble.
Interest rates are so pivotal it seems yet it is illogical too. Why is it better to have high interest rates that only one person can afford than it is to have low rates that ten can put to good use?.
Banks guard their profits so well that they are the only institutions never to fail when the country dives into the bogs of insanity
While you are getting filthy explaining that please point out how it is that governments are graded upon how much economic growth a country manages; yet, it is considered on the verge of bankruptcy if it maintains the same level of growth as it did during previous years?
Once again investors get edgy and the mortar of our markets powder and crumble.
Unless we have ever increasing numbers of “New” markets growth, logically, must be finite.
Constantly I am being told to reduce reuse and recycle; my manic consumerism is destroying the earth. Yet industry seems unable to survive unless it can sell me the same goods over and over again for no other reason than last months are broken and unrepairable. Lunatic growth in a finite container?
There is no real need to build products with that famous “Built-In-Obsolescence”.
If the whole world could afford these products then look at the number of markets suddenly available.
Why cant the whole world afford all these goods and services?
Oh yeah, of course; we need a vast slave labour force to produce all these goods cheaply so that the industry can make greater profits.
It has always been this way robber barons fucking the people senseless while they run off with the gold; only now we legitimize them by calling them captains of industry the supposed backbone and moral dictators of society.
But oddly enough they are not to blame; we the vast masses are. . .we let the Captains get away with it.
