Now that we are safely out of the hockey season it is time to enter into the real debate. No not salary caps or who should get what slice of what pie i couldn’t really give a wet slap for the damp dreams of multi-millionaires.
what really rocks my boat is the endless torment of seven game rounds.
Play off games should be sudden death. One game one life; lose and its all over until next year.
Play-off season is all about money and very little to do with the game; you all know this yet you let these multi- millionaires squeeze ya balls for that last dime even when they spend half the season squabbling over how much more money they can have.
Seven games, well bloody hell! Talk about a waste of energy time and money. I have heard all the arguments about how the Stan’ Cup is the hardest to win. Final victory, therefore, to the winning team is a well deserved achievement.
But come on peeps even the most devoted fan has to be a little bored with it all by the end of freaking June. I personally could care less it has faded so far into white noise that the final goal barely registers on the Richter scale.
