I decided not to blog today, so this bit is my “Not entry.” advising you of my intentions. Please do not read it‚ if you already have done so then may I suggest you unread it because reading it makes its “Notness” null and void ergo not really a notness and I would have wasted my time this morning.
Life can be so complicated don’t you think? Would be much simpler if you could have invisible ink that could not be read. This would provide the dual purpose of A) warning to a potential reader not to read and B) not being able to read what they have just “Not” read. I astound myself sometimes Am I a genius before his time? Of course there are some out there that will flagrantly read anything despite warnings. To these people I
say:……..;………,..!….eh?
I have a question; if you have read this far might as well ask a question now I have your attention.
Does anyone else think that computer pop messages are an over statement of simple stuff? I mean things like FATAL ERROR. Or FORBIDDEN sounds so final or dungeons and dragons’ish. Just how damn fatal is it? I have seen hundreds of those errors and I have lived to tell tall tales about them. My dog quakes with terror every time I start in on a Fatal Error saga.
Such drama queen messages could be replaced with ‚”Whoops! Not that way; Silly you.” followed by a sad face. Forbidden could be less Wagnerian and replaced with “I am sorry but access to this page is not in your best interest. Might we suggest the following alternatives?” See helpful and non threatening.
May the force be with you all and try and forget that you read this entry‚ It does not exist after all.
i agree with you!
