I innocently wandered this world believing that most things around me were on the up and up. No one was lying to me and everything was bonafide. Now at the risk of sounding like some crazy conspiracy theorist in a funny hat I find that this is not the case.
Vitamins need not be taken as supplements to ones diet unless a Doctor has diagnosed a particular deficiency. Even on the worst diet in the western world our food contains most of our nutritional needs.
When I saw the suffix Dr. attached to anyones name I assumed that the individual had been to multiple schools for multiple years and knew more than a thing or two. Seems this is not so either; just about anyone can attach that honorific and no one will say a word. The no least of these frauds are Chiropractors. We believe them to be bonafides because they have quietly weaseled their way into our conciseness and Chiropractic offices abound in every mall in every city; as common as burger joints. Yet evidence shows these people do more harm than they do good.
As for acupuncture it has been proven to matter not one jot where the needle is placed in the body it has the same effect as a strategically placed needle…Nothing.
Just recently I discovered that it is not as essential, depending on usage, to change the oil in your car as often as garages and dealers would have you believe. . .synthetic oil last so much longer than the real stuff. Who would have thought those sharks of old were still at their shyster ways?
Then there is Homeopathy the biggest fraud of all time a multi-million dollar racket that has no basis in truth whatsoever. The only plus side is that such medicines cannot harm the consumer as all active ingredients are diluted away to nothing.
So as I continue to wander the world an innocent as always and terrified that if I say anymore you will see me as part of the tin foil hat brigade I am struck by a thought.
Why waste time dreaming up area 95 cover-ups or government plots to fill our drinking water with Zombie Juice? Why not turn around and see all the real cons of the world. . .there are dozens. Fill your boots people and save the world for real.
