With a word processor it is easy to write pithy profound prose all one has to do is look it up mix and match and so long as it sounds deep profundity will become your middle name.
What is difficult is the creation of pointless puce prose. . .these are harder to understand; mostly because of an apparent poinlessicity. Although no one will copy and paste these gems they will think about it more often and wonder if there was something missed an un-grasped je ne sais pas.
What does this achieve? Who knows? Perhaps the luring of minds to greater and lesser thought processes? Simple author satisfaction knowing that shallow poinlessicity is as magnificent as towering profundity.
Or not?
